    extra steel beni's?

I just added the extra steel to the clutch basket, new disks and new springs. Took the bike for a ride and even though the clutch seems to be grabbing good and not slipping, I really can't tell what the 8th steel has done for me. Someone wanna clue me as to what I am supposed to notice?
    Thanks,
    Dan

Well, your supposed to notice it grabbing good and not slipping. If you replaced all the friction disc, and your steels were good to begin with, it probably was overkill, but not a problem.

Clutch didn't seem noticably stiffer either.

The extra plate would be used in lue of replacing weak springs.
