Shim Library is ready for business...
I will post a list of available shims ASAP.
For our Canadian friends, tinman905 has generously offered to take charge of any shims needed on that side of the border. This should alleviate any delays due to customs...
Same general guidelines for that library.
General guidelines for using the shim library:
- Trade is shim for shim
- PM me or tinman905 with your request
I/ we will send you the mailing address at that time.
- Must send self addressed stamped envelope along with your trade in shims.
I would suggest putting a few extra cents of postage on the return envelope... I think our post office is running some sort of scam as they charge more to mail the shims from here than it seems to mail them here.
- Shims will need to be taped to thin cardboard as they tend to slide in the envelopes and get lost in the postal machines...
In the past, I have covered lost shims... However, since this library belongs to another XSive, I will no longer do that... use the library at your own risk.
There have been no problems with lost shims (that I can recall) as long as they were packaged correctly...
