  • Guess What

We are not done with the first one and now we own a second one???? He just bought a 1980 XS1100 SG, to restore.

I blame you guys, you said he would get the fever, while he has. The first one is still not running the way he wants it to, but he has all his parts for it now.

I guess we will start on the other one next.

I am glad I jumped in with this, still haven't had my first ride on the first one yet, oh well, maybe on the second one when it arrives. Go to pick it up on Saturday.

Will let you know, but no matter what you guys and the XS1100 are to blame!!!! LOL

    At least I'm not alone!
I've been resurecting mine for several months now and ALMOST have it road ready. So what do I end up doing? Buying another one of course! (I think that everyone should have at least tow xs11s.)

I've got some pics posted at:

      Re: Guess What

Sherry, you and motorhead are sick puppies for sure. You got the xs disease. I started with a 78 and when than one was wrecked, I got a parts bike loaded with chrome. Not able to canibalize a running bike, I went to the bone yards to fix up the first bike. I got another that I intended to use as a parts bike, BUT I got it running too. Then, TKat directed me to a FREE special. It was running, but it needed a lot to make it right. I purposely made it a parts bike. It is the "parts bike" rational and the internal drive to get them running again that creates a garage full of motorcycles!
