    Carburetors for sale?

Hi everyone! I'm an American living in London who's just trying to get his xs1100 tooled up for a long trip. I've had it for about 12 months, though it's been sitting garaged for about six of those. Having fuel problems so opened her up and guess what? The carbs have been mangled so badly there's nothing I can do. Some genius even did some drilling in there. Rather not talk about it. Just looking around for a used set someone may be able to hook me up with.

    Any ideas? I own a 1978 Standard E.

      Hi fugaz and welcome,
a carb rack from any year or model of XS11 will work on your '78 so long as you stay with the carb rack's original jets and settings and don't change them to the '78 ones.
In North America Andreas Weiss is your best chance, you'll find him in the XS parts for sale forum.
There is the delay and cost of getting the carbs to the UK to be considered and as the 'Bug says, you might be better off looking for a more local source.

            set of carbs in Belgium

            Hi,
I've put a sale on ebay.be but because it's not a paypal advertising, you cannot see it from UK. Ask at the XS1100.co.uk people for some opinions about my sales-.
            Maybe on ebay...
            thanks
