But you can't get one NEW! THey are no longer made, so you have to get a replacement from Ebay or such. And there are differences in the years, so you'll need to be sure you get the right kind for your model. 78-80 are similar, but 81 is different.

If you like tinkering, the vac advance unit can be repaired. You have to pry the crimp apart that holds the unit together, then the diaphram can be repaired with some RTV. Then crimp it back together. I did one 2 yrs. ago and it's still holding strong. Used ones show up on eBay from time to time.2H7 (79) owned since '89
