Folks,
It has been since the move over to this forum that I've posted and I see some of the same names. :-)
To the point, I've run out of the Special's ('80) vacuum shutoff diaphragms. the last two (K&L) that I purchased were a little short in the shaft and it took a little bending of the sheet metal next to the diaphragm to allow the o-ring to seat.
My question is whether this is still a problem or do they all fit ok these days?
For the entertainment content, I replaced the Special's fork springs many years ago with Progressive springs and saved the old ones. This past winter I used them for return springs in a 50 ton H-frame hydraulic floor press. I just _knew_ XS11s were versatile!
So, I'd appreciate any feedback and excellent sources for this diaphragm.
Thanks, - Reed
