There's a little town just west of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle called Vega....or maybe Adrian....or maybe Wildorado....has a couple of stores that have a good bit of info and memorabilia about Route 66. Only about 35 miles west of Amarillo.....hmmmmm....need to go there and refresh my memory. And, btw....Jerry's right about the series and the stars...was one of my favorites when I was "growing up" (like that'll EVER happen!). Only had one other show I liked better...and it was a few years down the road-- IIRC--Nice little show called "Then Came Bronson".
BTW...there are some towns east of here that used to be on Ol' 66, but I-40 just skirted 'em.

Ah the memories... Micheal Parks singing "Going down that long, lonesome highway, bound for the mountains and the plains".

I keep hoping that will come out on video, but I don't think it had enough of a cult following for that.
