    time to ride

I spent the day going over him with a fine tooth comb. finding that i'd switched the fuel lines in my haste made me wonder if I'd screwed anything else up. Figured I should coulor tune #1 since the float hung on me. True to form it was rich so I change it and resync'd. Runs f....g goood now. Wish it would stop raining so I can take him for a spin. Got a strobe/tachometer today and it's a piece of junk. Mt tach says I'm a 1 k, and this say's it's at 2200. Pisses me off. Lowered my tach to match the new gizmo and the bike won't even idle so low. Got beat for $130 bucks. Anyway, the strobe at least worked so i'm off about the amount I was asking about a few months ago. Question. If im at 31 and lieu of 36 would I be running rich, pluggs black and dry?

You may possibly have to divide that 'gizmo' reading by 2 because of the 'wasted spark' ignition.

yep .. on the tach .

your tune up tach probably is set for 4 cyl ( like mine )

Your bike thinks it is a 2 cyl .. soooooooooo..

divide the tune up tach by 2 .. = real rpm of bike ..
