    I need to purchase a fork brace anyone know where to get one?

      Hey kkrazy! Just search this site for info on T-KAT fork brace. It is the best one for your bike for sure!!!

        Thanks for the help

        Since I am new to the website I didn't know that info was already on the site for fork braces....I will search in advance from now on...I was in a hurry to put in a post since I was at work...sorry if it upset you for not searching....

          kkrazyt85, don't worry about it - some of us get grumpy at the "n00bs" sometimes, hopefully it is not a continuing trend like in some of my other haunts.

          T-Kat is a great guy, and I have bough 2 braces from him, but I don't know if he plans on making any more anytime soon - last I heard, he may have a standard brace or two laying around.

          If you do manage to get a brace, make sure you get the right one for your bike, the standard only fits standards and the special only fits specials.

            Thanks for the advice...

            My carbs are gummed up I suppose since the guy I bought the bike from let it sit with gas in it for 5 years...next job removal and cleaning of carbs....

              Before you even pull those babies off, I suggest reading the tech tips about carbs - you can find them near the bottom of the main forum "page", perhaps under "maintenance" or "repair"
