can any one tell me the mechanical diffs between std models and specials.have a chance to pick up what looks like 79 std for a c note.12k bike po cut off front of bike just ahead of engine, so no front end but every thing else is there. my bike is a 80 sg.thinking about it for parts. 79 bike is two-tone gray. any mech info would be help full.thanks for all the info on this site.
