So maybe it's just me, but it seems like every time I take one of those little bullet-shaped brake light switches out of its handlebar mount, they don't want to stay put when they're back in place. Last week I did a brake job on another member's bike, and true to form that darn little switch decided it didn't like its mount anymore. This morning I took it out, hit the lower ear with a heat gun on the low setting for about 30 seconds and gently pried it out a little bit. I left a little probe stuck in it to hold the ear out, put a little more heat on it, and let it cool with the probe stuck in it. After about 15 minutes I removed the probe, and the ear remained in its new position. Clicked it into place and now it stays put. Just passing it along .

I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

Great and simple idea. I haved not had an issue with that at this point but I am sure at some point mine will not want to clip back in.Nathan
