  • The Junkyard dog is no more.

Approximately 4:45pm today, JD suffered a fatal stroke.

The buzzards will start to strip her as soon as we can get enough people to get her out of Derwat's truck.

Yes, but by the time this happened it had several knocks

No, but I have a burn on my leg from the hot oil.

I took the pictures with my cell phone, don't think I can change the size.

As hard as it would go, which was about 120kph.

The 'knock' in my sig was a detonation issue that we've been working on, or at least we think that is what it was. Really not sure.

Basically, I can't afford to do anything with it, so it was either going to keep on going or explode.

                It chose the latter.

This bike has been cursed since I got it, so I am not exactly sad to see it go.

I am going to transplant the coils and carbs onto the 78. If it runs, ok, if not they all go in the dumpster.

I had that happen to a 78 Honda Civic Wagon once. But I was running at 75 MPH with the oil light on and I had no money to buy oil. I'm sure it had oil, but that is some massive destruction.

Thanks, I have a complete engine, apart, in my shed, and another one in the parts bike (bent valves I think).

What I don't have is patience, money or inclination.
