  • Question on fuel mixture screws

I can't seem to find anywhere where someone has mentioned which way to turn the mixture screws to make it leaner or richer. I would think that in would be richer, but i am not sure. Still tinkering with the carbs.

Counter-clockwise (out) to richen, clockwise (in) to lean.
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.

It helps me to remember that turning the screw in closes off the fuel flow, so like Dbeardslee said, in (CW) is leaner, out (CCW) is richer.
