  • carburetors... again?

what is the model of the carburetor on a 79XS11SF I am curious about what they were as I have a set but I might have to replace one.

Thanks to everyone on this forum you have all helped a ton in getting my bike back on the road.

I believe they are BS34 (series II) for the SF. Sombody out there correct me if I got that wrong.
Not sure about the "series II" but that sticks in my mind.

Yes, BS34-II were on the 78-9 XS11's, the "early type".

But remember what came on them may have been switched to the later carbs, So be sure to physically ID what you have before ordering any parts.

well I have two sets of carbs the ones currently on the bike are the later carbs. I was hoping to restore the earlier set and put them back on the bike.
