  • First gear issue?

My bike seems to grab a little when you first put it into first gear, is that the first-seconds gear issue i keep seeing posted? It kicks a little hard going into fist, but dosen't do anything going into second

These bikes DO sort of "chunk" into first. The "first/second" gear problem is when you get on the throttle HARD and the gear sounds like a machine gune, and seems to slip. To keep it from making so much noise as you shift into first, pull in the clutch about 5 seconds BEFORE you try to shift into first.

Try adjusting the clutch a little.

jat, if the idle is set a little high,
