For the BS 34 carbs (79 special) what is a good float height for the plastic floats from mikes?

You should set them the same as the Metal ones. The settings are in the manual. The settings don't change for the plastic floats. I think the setting for '79 carbs is 25.5mm IIRC.1980 XS850SG - Sold
