Does anyone know if these are the same washers needed to fix a leaking neutral safety switch?

    Hi lakecountrydave,

MikesXS has caused confusion 'cos they've squashed two part numbers together - their "Oem Ref. # 90430-0601418-0903" is actually a Yamaha partnumber "90430-06014" followed by one of their part numbers "18-0903".

That's why you won't find 90430-0601418-0903 in my part number finder.

The part you want is 90430-10171-00 should be $2 from Yamaha.

or find a washer 10.2mm internal diameter and 1mm thick.

If it were me, I'd go to Ace or Home Depot and find a washer that fits. The washer itself does not fix the leak. Try a dab of anti-seize on the threads of the sensor when you screw it in. Remember that the sensor has to ground to the engine case, so the electrical contact is important. As with spark plugs, the anti-seize helps the electrical contact, and prevents the threads from bonding to the engine.
