Anybody run balancing beads it their tires?

I have used airsoft pellets in the past on my Jeep with 38" tires because of the size but, I hear they are great on bikes too?

Anybody use some sort of beads?

Check here for a start and then do a search, there's others. Lots of opinions, lots of reference sites and some who have tried them.

          Beads

Put them in rear tire when I replaced it in January. Been about 500 miles, no vibration what so ever. Can't say it is just the beads because I didn't try it without beads and no balancing weights. But it is my experience, after working in a tire shop some, that not many tire and wheel combos are balanced to start with. That being said, I did pull off about 1/2 oz. of weight from the rim that balanced the previous tire. So I figured it would need something to balance it. This was cheap enough, and I'm not opposed to trying something different. And I don't like the look of lead weights on chrome wheels. I also don't tend to take other peoples opinions as gospel, but since YOU ASK, you are getting mine. Kind of Ironic, isn't it.
