YICS Eliminator... The Ultimate Tuning Tool

Your exactly right Tod, leaving the YICS Eliminator installed is the way to go. The tool has been available from me on eBay (search bent-biker) for about 1 1/2 years now. I have had my Eliminator installed since then and it's doing great. The O-rings will handle the heat and chemicals without any problem. But like Tod said, they will eventually flatten a little and need to be replaced. I would guess that they would last for 3 to 5 years, no problem. You can get replacement O-rings from me, just send me a PM.

If you want to check the condition of the O-rings, I would recommend threading the installation screw into the Eliminator and wiggling it back and forth a little. If there's any noticeable movement back and forth, the O-rings need to be replaced. If you do not feel any noticeable movement, then they are OK. Do not remove the YICS Eliminator. If you remove the Eliminator, you will probably need to replace the O-rings.
