  • Can't wash my bike

Any time I wash my 79XS11SF it will start but as soon as I put it in gear it dies. When it has time to dry out it goes again. ?? Where do I look for the problem?? I'm afraid I'll get caught in a shower and have to sit on the side of the road.

It's not the speed that will get you it's the sudden stop.

Check clutch lever switch, sidestand switch, neutral light switch and their connections, if they even exist.
My kawa did that, it was the sidestand sw.

If it doesn't have an engine, it's not a sport, it's only a game.

Sounds like a good excuse not to have to wash it!
