  • Vetter Windjammer

So I've got this big ol Vetter Windjammer hanging on the front of my 79 Xs for dear life....but its just not my taste and it has to go. What are my options? Obviously I could keep it and maybe one day I'll put it back on, but thats not likely gonna happen. Plus I'm sure to catch heck from my woman about having it lying around forever.

Does anyone know about what are these things worth?

    Thanks
    Lanny

Depends on the condition, and who you find to sell it to. I got mine, including the mounting bracket for $75 IIRC. It was in really good condition, and included a cyclesounds with working radio, and a wiring pigtail.

The problem is usually finding someone locally to buy it, since they are a pain to ship (though it can be done). The bracket is the most valuable part of it, because they are not identifed, and are bike-specific. You have to know what bike it came off of to know that it will fit your bike.
