small amount of gas in air cleaner?
This past winter I replaced the parts in the petcock and replaced the floats, and float valves.
As you know from this thread they over flowed to the point I noticed some gas leaking from the air cleaner.
I have been checking my petcocks by leaving the gas pipes off the petcock and they seem to be holding.
I pulled the carbs and cleaned out some debris that I may have missed when cleaning this winter (bear in mind the bike sat for a long time till about a month ago)
when I flip the carbs over and blow into the pipes they seem to shut off.
I'm not noticing flooded condition at start up something I noticed prior to the overflow leak but I noticed a small amount of gas in the air cleaner maybe less than an ounce.
could that happen from normal riding or is there still a problem?
TIA
Rick
