Well i thought id try to see if i can figure out how to post pictures
and get pictures of my bike up.
Well having 2 jobs cuts down on the time i have to work on it
and having a SWMBO cuts down on the cash i can spend, but so far its closer to being finished than 6 months ago.

This the way it looked when i got it , its a runner but had some problems
that needed fixed, replaced ignition leads, drilled rotors,re jetted and got
rid of the vacuum petcocks and fitted manuals.

And as of 10am this morning this is her , still need to repaint calipers and waiting for my dual layer uni pods but maybe i get to ride during our short
    New England summer.

It looks like it will be great when and if time and SWMBO let you finish.

        I like the color

I was just discussing this morning with SWMBO about painting the Venturer tank Burnt Orange with white knee insets and white covers with small burnt orange longhorns on each side instead of the XS Eleven emblem.

            Hi Brit,
nice job but whatever possessed the dreaded PO's tiny mind that he painted parts of the engine baby blue?
BTW, compared to Saskatchewan, New England ain't got a short riding season at all.
And OK you guys from Alaska, I know you got it worse.

That paint looks great! Is that the seat that is up against the tank in that shot? If so what material is that I like it.

                        Hey BritinNH,

Nice bike, the color is awesome. IMHO you should take the same color as the tank and paint the YAMAHA letters on the engine covers to match. I like the back but think a little color would set it off like a firecracker. Cant wait to see more of your build.

As for the seat cover i cant tell you a thing about it as it was on the bike when i got it all i can tell you is it has a weave pattern and was one of the things i liked when i saw it.

                            new pics

Well got myself a new Nikon camera so thought id drop a couple of pics of
my bike as it gets a little bit closer to being finished.

Still got to finish front calipers, wire up new turn signals and tail light and put the kereker back on (headers wrapped black, muffler chrome) bar-end mirrors and then the other things you keep on finding to do, that never crossed your mind when you first start a project.
