Check the splines on the old Honda trail bike shifters. They were a heal/toe type, and may slide on. You may have to bend them a little, but some heat will help with that.

I think Hideki just took a heel toe arrangement off his bobber. He might want to part with it.

Hey Slo Mo: To be honest the TC Bros Forwards are fine on the downshift (just your toes) but due to the way the xs1100 shifts its a whole leg movement for the upshift, my heel comes right off the peg on the upshift. Its quite a deal, took me awhile to get used to it. I still like them though. I had the same ones on my xs650 & it was a toe deal for both down & upshift but not with the 1100. If you got a leg problem I'd stay away from these & try the heel to shifter route that guys are leading you too. See ya in June with a cold beer - Dan

I have a heal toe shifter with floor boards on mine. I'll try to get a picture up tonight. Not sure where it came from possibly pieced together by the PO.

What is the conclusion on the heal toe shifter? My foot is pretty ridged and can't really shift well at all and have to move whole leg on up or down shift.
                    I can't believe a simple lever would cost 175 -200$
Those of you that have them would a floorboard be recommend?

I have floorboards and a heel toe shifter. I can't see using a heel toe without floorboards unless the was very specifically placed around the footpeg.

                          Hey Wolf,

I made a heel/toe shifter out of a pair of go-kart pedals from Northern Tools as part of my forward controls I made several years ago. My design allowed me to keep the OEM shifter lever functionality and still have the H/T shifter action on the forward controls.

However, without putting on forward controls, then you might want to see about finding a local welder if you don't weld yourself, and then add a Heel shifter lever to the other end of the oem shift.

Thanks guys,I was thinking of keeping the toe part where it is with something behind it so I could use my heel for up shifts.I wanna kinda stay simple since that is how my mind works

Seems it would be easy to do that but, that's easy to say here on the computer.lol I like the concept of oem front with a welded on heal to the back.
