Well not so sure now. I noticed today while riding that the red on the speedo is much brighter then the tach. So I would assume one of them has been changed.
81 xs eleven special purchased with 3,700Miles, now running perfect after 35 hours work with 4,100miles. I got lucky in miles category! Look forward to 10x that soon!

At riding 100 miles daily (mostly freeway) I will be hitting 50k in a few days. All miles are original with no rebuilds. Owning such an old bike...I am having problems finding someone to do the recommended adjustments outlined in the service manual. Since this is my only form of transport now..I don't want to risk screwing something up.
