Well actualy I got two. Came across an add that someonw wanted to traide a 78 xs1100 special and a 79 xs1100 midnight for a running street bike. I have been looking for an xs for about a year now. It was hard to pass up. even with my wife getting upset and telling me not to. the 78 is hard to start, probably needs to have the carbs cleaned and then tuned up. The 79 ... well its a basket case. was laied down about 15 years ago and the put in a shed and forgotten (last registered in 95) Then some one worked on it and made a mess out of the wiring.
The 78 has with it full dress (just not on) hard bags, trunk, faring and engine gaurds. all a little rough around the edges. (My wife thinks it all need to go to the junk yard) I think they both have potential.
So I traided my 82 XJ750J Maxim for both bikes plus he gave me some cash. Now comes the hard part restoring both biles with little to no budget.
