    rear caliper

Does anyone know if an xs850 rear caliper will fit on an 1100 special. I know Andreas has one for an 1100 but he cant ship until middle may.

If it's an 850 Special then it should fit fine, but I think the Standard ones are different.

What year of each? They are NOT all the same. The XS1100SF, SG, and SH all use the same rear caliper (3J6-25810-52-00), but the XS850SG uses 3J3-25810-50-00.

Standards and Specials are different. For the fronts, anyway. There are a few different rears though - not sure what they are.

All the 11's use the same rear caliper. It's the fronts that differ from specials to standards.

              Not entirely true.

I did a little research since that last post. Most of the XS's use 3J6-25810-52-00 (also called 2H7-25810-51)

The LH (and the XJ's) use 4W1-25810-50-00
