  • lost balls!!?

    hi, i lost the springs and balls for the enrichment detent locks. does anyone have a source?

      Try looking at your ball point bic pens or the like, see if the springs are small enough.

        Springs measure:
        8mm in length and 3mm in diameter
        Balls measure:
        3.13mm in diameter

        Maybe a good hardware if there's any left

        When I lost one of my balls 4 years ago, that is, uh, enrichment detent balls, I took apart a grease zerk only to find that the ball was too small and the spring too long and skinnier than the originals. I was replacing a bearing in my 4" grinder about a month ago and low and behold its balls measure: 3.12 mm in diameter HTH

            My calculator says that is one eighth of an inch ball, or 1/8 inch ,, or .125 inch ball,,

                Yep. I replaced one of mine with a bearing ball from my old RC car tool-kit. Thankfully, I didn't loose either of the 2 springs.
