    What is this mystery snorkel thingy? Looks like a vent tube..

      Yes, it's the crank vent to airbox tube.

        Hi Randy, If that tube will work on my '80G I can use it as mine is not very pliable anymore.

            Yes, it is the correct vent tube for my '80G. Let me know what You need to get for it.

                  I recently made one myself. Went to Advance Auto Parts and bought some hose of the same ID, and it worked fine. It doesn't need to have all those bends in it already. Cost me about $1.50 IIRC.
