Are Continental tires in the 130/90 17 inch tires worth putting on a 1979 Suzuki GS850. They are $30 on ebay. Thanks.

You'll get all sorts of opinions on BRANDS, so we won't go there!
However, what you want to know is the condition of the tires, are they used or NEW? If used, you can't tell or see very well in a picture the wear pattern, if there's any scalloping, feathering, flat spots, bubbles, etc.!
Next, is the Born On Date....see the tire change pictorials for info about that....they are stamped with week and year of production. IF they are 3 or more years old, then they are near getting hard and slippery!
