    Hi Sam,
you got a Standard which comes with rectangular head & signal lights so the round ones from an XS650 won't look the same.
OTOH, they will bolt right on and work perfectly well.
There are an XS650, an XS750 Special and an XS11 Special in my garage and there is no difference that I can see between the headlights or signal lights on any of them.

Thanks, I found headlight, bucket, ears, and signals for 50 bucks shipped on ebay and rolled the dice and ordered them. My bike has full Vetter faring on it and I don't like it. So I'm going with more of a cafe' or naked look. I appreciate the response though.

        Whichever you like better works...

My 78 STD Rising Sun had the square headlight replaced with a round one from a Special and I like it better - I think there is an adapter for fairings (which I don't know) that I've seen mentioned if you want to keep the fairing but lose the square look.

No I'm actually ditching the faring. If I sell it and my bags and seat I will completely have funded my bike with $0.00 out of pocket.
