Welcome!
You will probably want to add your bike to your signature, so you don't have to repeat the year and model whenever you ask a question.
Also, check out the link in my signature. It leads to a map with the location of over 50 of the members here, you just might find a riding partner!

If you put your location on your signature, you may find someone close to help out, or at least help with the beer.
Welcome to the site, and let me know if you need any help locating parts.Ray Matteis

Cheezy - welcome to ch11. What do you have your carbs soaking in? You don't want to submerse them in carb cleaner unless they're completely disassembled - it's bad for the rubber parts. Somebody just had a post up recently about soaking in PineSol that looked like it worked pretty good. I usually just use aerosol carb cleaner with a variety of different size brushes. Anyway, you're starting in the right place. Between cleaning carbs and electrical connectors, you'll probably nail 70% of the most common problems.
Ray - you out-typed me again . Sorry for the message from the department of redundancy department.I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.
