clutch Hub

Any body got the torque spec's for the clutch hub assembly on the rear wheel? Also, I have a slight ridge on the lands, both leading and retired surfaces of the hub gears. Should they be filed down or just leave them. It's not much but thought I'd ask.

Manual lists the torque of the clutch hub at 39.8 ft/lbs. I'm guessing those ridges match the condition of the splines in the rear drive, I'd leave them alone and make sure it's properly lubed.

Thanx Randy. I really have to get a shop manual but I'm dial up challenged. Keeps hanging up when I try to down load a large file. I always used the tranny to decelerate so the the up-turn on the gears is not a surprise but wanted to know if I could I start hammering it again. Will look at the final and ensure it it is sound before I re-assemble.
