            Jan48,

Go here to see a set of SuperTrapp universal mufflers http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26440&page=5

They are mounted on a set of Mac 4-2 headers. The post has a link to the SuperTrapp universal muffler site where you can find out the length and diameter you need. Mine are 4 inch diameter, 17 inch long with a 2.25 inch inlet. They come in stainless (shown), painted steel (cheapest) and chrome.

Just measure the outside diameter of your stock headers and see if you can match them to a SuperTrapp inside diameter. I think you will have some luck.

BTW, don't buy from SuperTrapp because you can get them much cheaper from Ebay vendors.

I can't tell you how pleased I am with these mufflers. They sound and look great. Looks better in real life than in the pictures.

Mac 4 into 2 with 16'' trunout extentions

I have a 79 xs1100sf installed a Mac header 4 into 2 wraped with black header heat wrap. with 2.5'' turnout slipons. I cut off the turnouts and purchested 2 3.25'' id x 16'' long turnout chrome extentions from a truck muffler shop $20 each. I used some muffler goop to create a seal and sprayed hight heat ceramic black on the inside of the pipe look and all, then add the extentions onto the exsiting mufflers with a tack weld on the botom. They give the exoughst a 30" muffler look all the way to the back of the tire.
                Look good sound good too.

Got a brand new still in the box Jardine slip-ons with the cross-over, may be out of your price range. Gonna take them box and all to Caly rally in June. If they come back with me, they may be available to anyone here.
