Im looking for some parts, mainly the bar clamps from an xs around 1982, dont know when they changed. Trying to change the XJ handle bars, also need a rear brake caliper, or rebuild kit? Rebuilding a 1982 w 22,000 original miles. THanx in advance,

There are no XS's after '81. The XJ brake rebuild kits are available from lots of places though. You might try Chakal on the xjbikes.com site, or ebay, or z1enterprises.com (look for XS1100LH parts too, as the '81 MNS used the same calipers).1980 XS850SG - Sold

If you want to lose the funky XJ bars, you will have to change the upper triple tree. Use one from a 79, 80, or 81 special.
The only 82 models sold in USA were XJ's. They had the three way adjustable bars that can also be found on the Venture, V-Max, and Virago.put something smooooth betwen your legs, XS eleven
