How long after a ride before you can check oil

    It was on the centerstand with no oil, maybe a very little at the very bottom where the dust wouldn't let me see. I put the .5 qt I had left over in and now there is oil in the window. Haven't rode today though, bike under cover. I'll watch it close this week and pick up another quart or 2 before the weekend..

      Check the oil level before you go. Put the bike on the center stand on a somewhat level surface, and check the window on the clutch cover as has been stated. When adding oil, you do not want to over fill these engines by much if at all. They do not like it. DAMHIK And sucking the oil out of that thing is a PITA.
