It's a locally made F1 4-1 system, sounds ok. I have a vid of it on youtube I can upload if anyone wants to hear it.

Thats factory standard bikini fairing that model came with, bolts to a headlight mount. Helps a bit on the open road. Didn't need to paint on touch it, still in new nick

My old 1981 Kawaka GPz is almost the same setup.

Very Nice, great job on the resto. You should be proud everytime you ride it cause it can't be bought like the way todays bikers BUY todays Harley's, it's made by a biker. Keep it on 2 wheels....

I'll agree that the bike looks really good. But will take exception on one thing. A large number of the HD employees are riders so they are built (for the most part) by bikers. They just have a different set of thing important to them, like chrome and paint rather than performance and speed.

                    Cheers guys

I tried to keep it as factory original as possible, other than the pipe and mirrors (couldn't get the original type) its how it rolled off the assembly line.

Love to get my hands on some original black pipes.

You and every Midnight Special owner in the USA. Those pipes are considered "black gold" if you can find them intact and usable. Again, looks very nice as you have it!

Thats cool, but from a sales man point of view. I suppose as "bike mechanic's" they could build and drive what ever they want. As a poor man in Canada, and as bikers in the old day, I've built mine to compete with their Mustangs and Corvettes and Harleys. I'm not a lawyer, doctor or dentist who can't afford the inflated prices and components to "customize" my bike, I found inexpensive parts, made em fit, and pollished the living hell out of it. There's only one of mine, just tell your friends to take theirs to the shop, spend the bucks, and make one of yours.

                            hey kermit,
i think they were only fitted to the euro sports model
and the aussie version 81rh, the bars are in 3 pieces with the outer
bars being adjustable in and out.
apparently they are hard to get and expensive to buy,
personally i didnt like them and i put on wider bars.
id post a pic but im not on my pc atm.
