    XS All Finished

99% finished 1981 XS-RH Sports. Had some fun and headaches finishing her but it's now ready for the highway. Brakes still need to be bled and its rear tyre is old and a bit worn but other than that it goes like a new bike
    Pity summer is over

Looking good Coopz, but whats this garbage about summer being over? It's gotta get below 10 degrees over here before I'll think twice about riding, you lot seem to put the shutters up when it gets below 20 . I remember our first May trip to the Gold Coast several years ago. We got on a plane in Christchurch in 4 degrees and got off in Coolangatta in 21. The motel owners were wrapped up in polar fleece and a padded jackets and we were in T Shirts and Shorts. Couldnt decide who was nuts, them or us. We quickly learned how to "spot the Kiwi" on the beach, they were the ones sunbathing and swimming. The Aussies were the ones running to keep warm.

Good lookin scoot! I love the fairing, looks almost like the ones on Kawasaki's ZRX1200R but it has a round light instead of the Kawi's square. Where did you source that from? And more important, is it available in the States? (For less than the price of my left nut, of course...)

                      Hi Davey,
you like that fairing? I got one looks kinda like it hanging in the garage gathering dust because I think it's butt-ugly.
