Welcome aboard! Tell us a bit about yourself. How long have you been riding, what other bikes have you ridden (if any), what is the condition of your new ride? Oh, we like pictures too, so be sure to take some, and post them so we can see the machine we're talking about!
Be sure to read ALL the tech tips (at the top of the screen), and get yourself a manual (you can download 2 of them from the link in my signature). Let us know how we can help. We've all been in your shoes at one point, so don't feel bad asking questions. Just try to avoid asking about tires or oil!1980 XS850SG - Sold

Hmmm- having an isssue posting.
Short version: Aside from all the dirt bikes, there has been a kz 1000, gs 550 2 stroke triple, bmw r90/6, vt 1100c, gs 750, bonneville chopper and so on. Had the use of an xs11 in the late 70's and never forgot the ride- so when this one came up for $700 (that wouldn't spark) , I grabbed it. Really clean bike. Got it home, wiggled the connections, fired it up and took off. Sweet deal. Will send pics when my software is installed. Been having issues. Thanks again for the welcome.1980 xs 11 special
