  • power loss

Hi every one. Thanks to all of your good information I have been able to enjoy the spring days on my xs11. Although the bike is running good I have a small power loss. I noticed today my right muffler is broken in half! My question is can this cause my loss of power. The power loss occurs at low revs like when I start in first gear or switch to other gears and let off the throttle. But when I open the throttle it goes away and I move down the road. Thanks in advance

The loss of back-pressure from the muffler could be causing some of the issue. I would suggest getting that welded up, then see if the problem continues.
