  • Exhaust wrap ??? Questions

    I was wondering what should i look for when I'm shopping for exhaust wrap on ebay. what should I want and not want.

    And then, how to install it. What should I know about installation.
    I found this PDF about wrapping but i't's more images than tips ans tricks.

    I prefer to use stainless safety wire as in the tutorial, it looks cleaner than the ties or hose clamps, and if you have the pliers and the wire you can use it for other purposes later on.

    You can get safety wire and safety wire pliers on Ebay pretty inexpensively, probably cost you about the same as the ties would when you buy the wrap, or you can find them at Harbor Freight.

    There are other tutorials on the net for how to use safety wire and pliers properly, be sure to practice a bit.

      If you are interested

      I have a hundred feet of black 2 inch exhaust wrap I am not going to use...if you are interested PM me. I also have stainless steel ties to go along with it.
