78 standard wheel lug nut sizes

Search doesn't like 3 letter words, so I'm hoping someone knows the sizes of the front and rear lug nut on a 78E. I know they're bigger then any of the meager sockets I currently own.

    Thanks!

If you mean the axle castle nuts, the front is 22MM, rear 27MM.

Yup, those are the culprits. I've got new tires to put on and rear brake pads to replace.

      Thanks!

        Hi Fix,
FYI a 7/8" (22.2mm) wrench is a sloppy "only if you are desparate" fit on a 22mm fastener.
But a 1-1/16" wrench is the exact same size as a 27mm.
