  • 10 lbs of wiring in a 5lb headlight bucket?

I have read that the 750/650 headlight bucket interchanges with the XS. My question is this. Will all of the wiring fit in the bucket or will some of the front end connections need to be made outside the bucket.
I like the idea that the 750/650 headlight doesn't have the "ash tray" hole on the top of the bucket. At least I have what is supposed to be a 750 bucket that doesn't.
Any pros and cons form anyone?

    Thanks folks,
    Rodger

not sure about the bucket your talking about however i did get a round bucket and light from a 79? 80? off ebay for my 78. It did fit on the fork ears but getting the wires behind it to fit took some pushing and pulling... almost ended up using the "persuasion via hammer" resort to get the bucket to fit around the wire. If my bucket fit with all the cobbled wires behind it you should be ok with the bucket you've got in mind
