Should be almost plug and play, You have to do some work to make them plug into your stock signal wires, our bikes have a strange metric bullet connector and I don't think those signals will come with the right ones. You could cut off and crimp new connectors on the bike side, or order the right bullets to put on the signals from geezer's store.

Also it doesn't give any specifics on the length or size of the mounting post so it could be different.

Finally you'll have to switch to an electronic flasher if you haven't already, and you'll lose the auto-cancel function. Most any 2 prong electronic flasher will work.

      Hey TBC,

Do you hate not being seen?? Those are a bit smaller than OEM that's for sure, but our population is AGING, and their eyesight is failing!!!

Take a look if you haven't, at the thread in the Riding Tips section, about why bikers are INVISIBLE, and you might change your mind about those BIG UGLY turn signals, not to mention brake lights, headlights!? JAT!

        Hi 'rider,
I gotta tell you, I LOVE THE HUGE STOCK turn signals.
If they were even bigger I'd love them even more.
For me, being visible trumps looking cute.
However, catalogs are full of teensy-tiny signals and a search should eventually find the ones that please your aesthetic sense.
If you get lamps that have less than 27Watt bulbs in them the stock flasher won't work them. Same deal if you get lamps with LEDs in them and you may get both signal indicator lights flashing too.
You will also lose the self-cancelling feature because that module only works with the stock flasher.
The list "search" function will tell you all about it.

I have to agree on the visibility thing. I love my Vetter trunk even more because of all the light it throws with the 4 extra brake and marker lights on there. After our ride yesterday psycoreefer asked what I had in the lights in that trunk because they were so bright. Just standard LED 1157 replacement units, but if they are bright enough to make an impression in the daylight, they have got to make me more visible to those behind me at least. I know I can back up by the light from them at night when I park the bike in the driveway (which is unlit so it can be fun at times) I can see everything clearly even without grabbing the front brake lever to light them up to the bright level. C-bug has the same trunk and lights on his MNS, I'm sure he can back me up on how bright those things are. I'm disappointed that I can't find an amber version of the same LED units for the Vetter fairing, it seems I'm going to have to order online from superbright LED for those. I agree on the turn signals too, I want the biggest brightest things I can put on there and still fit without looking silly (and I think the stockers fit the rest of the bike pretty well, I think those little things look silly on every bike I've seen them on). I mean, why would you WANT people to not be able to see that your signalling or stopping? I guess these squids in most cases have a death wish, which is probably why they ride a wife beater, shorts and running shoes with no socks and a $600 fancy helmet.

haha thanks for concern. I live in LOS ANGELES! you seriously could be glowing like you were a guy from the movie TRON and people out here still wouldnt see you. im keeping the stock headlights and tail lights... just changing the turn signals... OHHH again in LA 99% of people have NO CLUE what a turn signal is ....

not an aarp card member yet....

hey there folks....gotta agree with topcatgr58 & fredintoon on this one....the old ones are big and visible......to be seen is better than how it looks when ur sitting still....i know there are extremes out there.....

...but i found so far that putting leds in those old, ugly assemblies really does increase your visibilty....(haven't road test these suckers yet, but i bet it lights up a block behind me!)...

              1157's running lights....

              1157's brake lights....

              2 leds running lights...

              2 leds brake lights....

gonna be ordering the 2 other leds soon....have not looked into turn indicators and such, but the leds are mucho brighter than the 1157's....JMHO....ride hard, ride safe...ross
