    Yep, I re-torqued the bolts, probably after 100 miles. I'd always get a "seep" in front of the exhaust cam plug and running around the front of the head. The Permatex gray works well for me (YMMV), and it's pretty much the same color as my engine. No seeps so far on either bike.

      Guys I appreciate all the info. I am going to try the pam method. I work in aviation and one thing I have learned is that surface prep is an important thing for sealing. I also sent Xschop a pm about the billet cam plugs. Would like to get a set of them and try. I have used the Yamabond for years on two stroke cases with no trouble or leaks when done properly. I want to make sure that I don't have any issues that are causing the cam plug issues. I'm ready to ride!!!
