I searched but the result was nil. Can anyone tell me what is the best way to put "real" handlebars on an 82 XJ1100, will any other triple tree fit? Do I have to modify my current tree? I have a donor that is completely stock and in great shape and the front end on my rider is twisted thanks to a deer and a tree. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Is there any other front ends that will fit on this frame as I wouldn't mind if I could put a wider front tire on as well.

Pretty sure an XS11 Special upper triple tree will work. You can put any front end on you want, but it won't be a direct bolt on. I put an FJ1100 front end on my Standard, but I retained the stock front wheel. It took some doing. I think member Axel put regular bars on his XJ with the Special TT, might want to shoot him a PM.2H7 (79) owned since '89
