      very nice looking bike

That is a very nice looking bike. Price depends upon finding that one perfect person to pay for it. It seems a bit steep, but maybe someone local that can see and ride it would pay up.

Hey fellow Canadian - For the $2000 I think you'll sell it if you certify (get a safety for it) easy. If its all fine as you state. It looks great. I have been checking the xs1100's for about 3yrs on auto trader in Ont. & normally they go for around 1000 to 1400 - with no safety. But then again yours is very low mileage & everything works etc. - if you certified it, then it would make the buy that much easier. I'd want a bike certified for $2000, cause they are out there at that price certified. Hope this helps you out. By the way mine was a rust bucket when I got it - took me that long to find an MNS. - Dan

            Manitoulinlad,
I didn't think that all the provinces had the same requirement as Ontario. When we lived in Alta there wasn't any requirement on vehicle inspections when you registered them, it was required when we moved to Ontario and had to get them checked to put Ontario tags on them.

RS Thorton : Wow didn't know that - I guess when you live in one place all the time (Ontario) you kinda get tunnel vison, thinkin' everywhere else is the has same regs. Thx - Dan

                    Hi Gary,
~5 years back I paid Cdn$1,000 for my XS11SG but it looked like it had been over-wintered in a swamp.
I must have then put several hundreds of dollars into it to make it go, stop & look not quite so wretched.
If yours is as cherry as it looks, that's an OK price.
(Even with that hideous KQHB seat on it.)

                          Nice looking bike!

That is a beautiful bike ! Too bad you're not around Chillcothe Ohio. They're starving for bikes. I listed a 1982 Virago around midnight (Craig's list ) & it was sold before noon the next day. People from as far as 3 hours away were calling & emailing.

What's the matter with the seat (other than your missing the sissy bar that goes with it)?

I have the same setup on my 80SG, except I have the bar.

I am going to ask ~$1500 for mine, but mine is not as shiny, and has more kms on it.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...
