stuck on full throttle

In 3rd gear on a side street the other day
cranked it up for a little fun in the sun
suddenly stuck on full
coasted the 1/8th mile home

the cable is intact
activates the carb end still
can feel a little glitch just before fully open
must be something internal to the carbs, but how?

More likely the actuating mechanism at the end of the cable sticking on a crooked boot clamp between carb #2 and #3. When you cranked it, the glitch you felt could be when contact was made and the linkage got stuck.

yea because our bike where the only ones with elctronic throttle controlin the late 70s and eairly 80s..lol...might want to ceack the abs out its next.....lmao. had to have a little fun...sorry i couldnt help but hope maybe for a smile...
