    Sissy bar pad

    We are looking for a sissy bar pad for a 1981 xs11 special.

    I any one has one please let us know.

    If you think we are close, I've got dimensions and email pics.

    Why do they call it a sissy bar? Seems funny to me. Big tough biker on a big bad Harley w/ sissy bar. LOL
    Might as well have pink tassles on the grips.

      I always thought it was named for the sissy riding 2up that was afraid of falling off the back of the bike. LOL

        Hey there Tex,

        When I put my "backrest" on mine, I made the metal frame and I made the padded part, too. Some vinyl from Walmart, some foam rubber from mattress/fabric/crafts store, a glue gun, hunk of wood and went at it. I didn't put any fancy stitchin' detail or center button/diamond pattern, but it's a pad and it works and was relatively cheap!! Just an idea!
