    Stock tubes on a sf are different, the middle two should have less holes then the outer two, makes the middle two cylinders run slightly richer->cooler.

    If pulling the choke makes it worse then you may be looking at a to - rich condition.

    You don't need an analog Multimeter to test the tci, digital works just fine for me.

    You still haven't confirmed what jets your running.

    Try taking the air-filter out and going for a run down the street, not to far because you don't want to suck in a bunch of dirt, just far enough to see if the problem goes away. Maybe your air filter is plugged up and not allowing enough air in?

    185lbs compression seems way to high for a "stock" motor. Factory new was 140ish I believe, according to the manuals.

      If you're SURE your valve shims and carbs are right, only two things come to mind. Igntion and weak valve springs. Check ign wires from pickups to tci and tci to coils clean connections and re-solder the tci pins
